The story behind TillageTrack

About TillageTrack

Born from a Farmer's Need

TillageTrack was conceived by Isaac Wheelock, a well-known Enniscorthy farmer who recognized the need for a modern solution to the cumbersome paper-based record-keeping required for Irish tillage farmers.

Isaac's vision was brought to life through a collaboration with Warren Harding of GBA Solutions, who developed the iOS and Android applications.

This partnership between agricultural expertise and technical know-how has resulted in an application that truly understands and addresses the unique needs of Irish tillage farmers.

Understanding IGAS

Irish Grain Assurance Scheme and its importance

What is IGAS?

The Irish Grain Assurance Scheme (IGAS) is a quality assurance program for Irish grain producers. It ensures that grain is produced to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Why is IGAS Important?

IGAS certification is often required by grain buyers and processors. It demonstrates that your farm adheres to best practices in food safety, traceability, and environmental management.

Record-Keeping Requirements

IGAS requires detailed record-keeping of all farm activities, including:

  • Field operations (ploughing, sowing, harvesting)
  • Chemical applications (fertilizers, pesticides)
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Soil testing results
  • Crop storage conditions

How TillageTrack Helps with IGAS Compliance

Tailored forms ensure you capture all required information for each activity type.

IGAS-Compliant Reports

Generate reports in the format required for IGAS audits with a single tap.

Document Storage

Store soil test reports, certificates, and other documentation digitally within the app.

Traceability

Maintain complete records of all inputs and activities for each field.
